Knitwit was created in 2022, The founder created Knitwit with a few key goals in mind.

These goals include inclusivity, model diversity, and ethical production. Another important objective was to her mother bring her dream of sewing and production to life, allowing her to quit her 9-to-5 office job. Now, she is able to work from home, creating garments that she absolutely loves.

Each piece is handmade to order in Australia and Bali, with love and care, by the founder's mother and a small group of seamstresses. As the brand has grown, it has been possible to expand the available sizes, hire more diverse models, and invest in organic and recycled materials. Every order helps to shape ethical fashion in a positive way.
